SUBLIMATION PRINTING
This is what digital printing is about. Yimage's most sought after service; sublimation printing involves the use of specially designed dyes, combined with heat and pressure, they are then imprinted on synthetic fibres or polyester fabrics. You will also be glad to know that unlike fabric dyeing, sublimation printing does not pollute the environment; no water wastage, no water input and hence, no toxic water discharge, bravo!
It's good because...
- You can print your fancy COLOUR GRADIENT prints with no problems whatsoever.
-The colours and prints last extremely long even with multiple washes.
- It has the smoothest finishing out of all the printing methods.
Consider this if...
- You DO NOT intend to print on black or dark coloured fabrics. Other colours are fine.
-The fabric you are printing on is polyester or any fabric made of synthetic fibres. Natural fibres DON'T WORK for sublimation printing.
